Hi folks,

Time for an epic collab between KEREL and Lambiek Fabriek.

This is a blend of the Kerel 15 vol% Kaishaku (Japanese yeast!)(see the light-blue 33cl. bottle), and the cherry maceration Jart-Elle Oude Kriek (6.3 vol%) from Lambiek Fabriek.
This Oude Kriek is an unfiltered blend of home-brewed lambic, from spontaneous fermentation, aged in oak barrels. The lambic underwent a maceration with fresh cherries for 6 months.

This blend creates a tart, fresh, fruity sensation. Not sweet.
How amazingly smooth this beer is at a 10 vol%. Dangerous drinkable is the right description.  :find:
We paired the beer with a tasty smooth Rochefort cheese - Le Crémeux.
Pairs deliciously with that beer.

Sharing that bottle with two people was more than satisfying.
The Kerel Kaishaku at 15 vol% will be tasted later on under the motto: Less = More  t_u
A really wonderful beer we had. Top-notch artisanal quality that gets my full recommendation.
It is about €10.00 for one 75cl. bottle.
